GPRS v ADSL
Our new store Les Froggitts is now open for business, feel free to visit us.
Whilst we've been offline at home, with the lack of land-line we've had to resort to using the GPRS connection through my mobile phone.
It was a life-saver really, my wife was getting severe withdrawal symptoms from not being able to get easy access to the web when wanted. But when you're so used to a DSL connection having to go from a speed of 256 to 55 it really hurts.
They say you only know the value of something when you lose it, I can agree with that sentiment totally.
Let's hope that the DSL stays ok and that it's another four years before MoC throw another spanner in the works.

Hi There Korrinne & Martin Van Rooyen here in South Africa, M has just been offered job in Kuwait, we were there last week to look around and get the general high and low, the low being mainly food poisoning, bonus, it cured the boredom of a long sleepless night. We had a couple of queries, could you help out. Are your dogs coping ok there? we have a well travelled Sammy dog from UK to SA and are thinking of bringing him. Big request, we had no opportunity between puking and mall shopping to see accomodations there, have 5 year old boy and 13 year old girl, we want to put our fears to rest about having enough space to live in this air conditioned non alcoholic mecca. could you help us with appartment sizes, perhaps villa and price if you have any pictures it would be a real help (of housing that is) - no offence to the dogs. also what is your opinion of the schools there?
We're asking you as we can relate big time to your quite dry wit - no kennel pictures please!
